When a Jewish religious leader comes to meet Jesus under the cover of darkness, it has to mean something…..but what? Was he seeking answers, was there something he didn’t want his friends to know about, or was Jesus so busy that this was the only time He had available?
This story is found in the third chapter of the Book of John and concludes with the Bible verse that shows up in the stands of all the NFL football games on TV. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.”
For five Sundays in September we will explore this famous chapter and verse, considering what it means, and maybe find the answer to why a Jewish religious leader named Nicodemus came to Jesus in the middle of the night. Perhaps you will even find something you are seeking.
This series is called 3:16. The month is September 2018. The journey is yours for the taking
